Ramsey County Small Business Relief Fund

Ramsey County is providing emergency assistance to small local businesses adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Small Business Relief Fund will provide grants of $7500 to small businesses most in need of support.

Funds will help businesses pay for critical expenses such as rent or  mortgage payments, utilities, payments to suppliers and costs associated with reopening. Providing this support will increase the capacity of small businesses with a physical location in Ramsey County to survive the current crisis and will help prevent potential future blight scenarios.

Grand Old Day Flash Event

Several members have expressed an interest in having flash events next Sunday, June 6. While this wouldn’t be an ‘official event’, (i.e. pulling permits, having police presence), we can promote businesses who want to have sidewalk sales, outdoor concerts, or any other great ideas you may have.

We wanted to put it to the membership to ask your opinion on if and what you think would be appropriate and exciting for your customers. If there is enough interest we’ll get the good word out. You can let us know by filling this out:

Now Hiring?

With the skyrocketing unemployment in our community, there are some businesses who are actually finding themselves looking for new staff, and many neighborhood residents looking for work. We will be putting out a post letting people know who’s hiring and how to reach them. Please fill out this form if you’d like to be included in this promotion.
